Sunday Assessment for 1-2-11
Wants:
- Play Dragon Quest IX for an hour before bed to relax and get to sleep on time.
- Eat cheesecake. : D
- Drink more milk. : D
- Take a picture every day.
- Watch Rocky II.
- Rock my second week of Starting Strength.
Who says I need a lot of wants?
Needs:
- Change oil in car. Yeah. Still.
- Clean room. Yeah. Still. Maybe vacuum, too.
What I’ve accomplished:
- Gave spring availability to boss.
- Played NBA Jam. Yay!
- Played Dragon Quest IX a lot, having a lot of fun just dicking around.
- Posted Decade In Review pictorial. Yay!
- Read more Starting Strength.
- Rocked my first week of Starting Strength.
- Got my cuddlez on yesterday.
- Using a mini-notebook I have to write my workouts in. Much better than notecards.
- Got up around 7-8 AM every day except for this weekend.
- FINALLY gave Linda the molasses cookie recipe.
- Did take those start pictures for starting strength.
- Also posted my Year In Review pictorial.
- Got around to buying windshield washer fluid.
Been a nice week, overall.
RYN: HAH! Funny you ask actually, because while I was running today I realized that I’m going to need to budget for new shoes more often than I’m used to. As a rule, anywhere between three to five hundred miles is when you’re supposed to replace running shoes. Since I’m injury prone, I try not to go over four hundred miles in a pair of shoes. 🙂

RYN: I’ve heard about those, but never seen them. I think they are called Vibrams? I know of some people who wear and LOVE them. I’m curious about how they would hold up, but I need to be very careful about the kind of shoes I wear (due to my stupid injuries).

RYN: I usually separate laundry according to colors, but really what determines when I do my laundry is whether or not I have enough clean work clothes or underwear to get through the next few days. The reason I’m not worried about getting laundry done tonight is that I have enough of both of those “key items” to get me through at least Wednesday 😛
