Lifting for 12-20-10

I forgot to post this morning. I also apparently completely forgot to post Friday’s workout. So, first friday’s workout, then today’s.

    Day C, Week 2

    Lunges
    3×15 @ 25 lbs (+5 lbs)

    DB Incline Press
    3×15 @ 30 lbs (+5 lbs)

    Face Pull
    3×15 @ 70 lbs

    25 minutes cardio

And, today’s workout.

    Day A, Week 2

    Squat
    5 @ 175 lbs
    2×5 @ 185 lbs

    BB Bench Press
    5, 4, 4 @ 145 lbs (+5 lbs)

    BB Bent-over Row
    5, 4, 4 @ 145 lbs (+5 lbs)

No time for cardio today. Not to mention I’ve already mentally shifted gears. I wanted to feel out my squat today so I know how much weight I’d drop when I start Starting Strength. Rather start light and get my body used to squatting 3 times a week again. Also thinking about using a cable row instead of a bent-over row, given how spent I’m going to be after squats, bench, and cleans.

Long mid-shift today, and I forgot I’m openning tomorrow. After I finish my rounds, I want to play more Dragon Quest IX. Limp Bizkit’s “Unquestionable Truth” came today, and I’m telling you, it’s as underrated as I’ve heard. It’s pretty good.
