I haven’t done a set of lunges in… a while. Done by themselves, honestly, it wasn’t that bad. I usually do lunges after doing another leg exercise, or paired with something else. Doing them first really changed how hard they were. I had to fight through lactic acid on the second and third sets, but I still got it done.

Same lactic acid deal with incline presses, but not as huge a discomfort.

Took a big to figure out what weight to use for face pulls. I changed form slightly, using a single rope and increasing the height of the cable slightly. Felt.. more natural. Also let me really protract and retract my scapula.

No doubt that the bout of lunges (heh, I rhyme) effected my cardio. Got in a good time, but I was limited by my legs, not my lungs. Though, I was pretty relieved to finally begin my cooldown when I decided I’d had enough.

When I woke up this morning, I felt good and contemplated “going heavier”. However, by design, this A/B/C split is meant to avoid me killing myself, and keep me going to the gym.

I may or may not begin troubleshooting Kelly tonight. Might sound strange, but giving myself “permission” to put things off that don’t NEED to be done immediately is important to me. As opposed to artificially putting pressure on myself to do things that, in the big picture, can be put off. It’s just a big pain in the ass to disassemble and reassemble a computer. Hrm. I bet it’ll take less time than I think.
