Lifting for 10-19-9
I got sleep last night. SLEEP. I’m trying to get my everquesting under control. I swear. I did the same thing with Left 4 Dead, eventually reaching a point where I could STOP in the middle of the game. Of course, it’s different in Everquest. With Everquest, I have to tell myself, “I’m going to stop after I finish this task” rather than “I’m going to stop when I finish this task and any minor tasks that come up while I’m completing this task.”
Been meaning to take some screenshots. Because I’m a big loser like that. : D

Double for the top set was pretty much what I was aiming for. I’m not expecting my overhead press to improve leaps and bounds. It’s not going to happen. I just know how much I improved last year. Five pounds. One year, and my 1RM improved 5 lbs. If I were to get my press from 115 to 125, I’d double my progress rate. Gotta think long-term.
Doing assistance presses, I felt a tightness in the distal end of my left deltoid. Can’t remember whether that’s called the attachment or insertion point. Couldn’t tell whether it’s actually my deltoid or one of the smaller shoulder muscles being strained. No outright pain, just tightness. Next week is deload week, so we’ll see what happens after the week off.
Did “more stuff” afterwards. Cuz I felt great. Pairing of tricep pushdowns and curls, some lateral raises, and one set of cuban presses.
hey, man. I actually went to the gym and everything! no joke!
