    5 @ 75 lbs
    5 @ 85 lbs
    5 @ 95 lbs

    Alternating Sets
    BB Shoulder Press:
    5×10 @ 60 lbs

    BB Wide-grip Row:
    5×10 @ 60 lbs

    Pull-ups:
    6, 6, 6 @ BW

I had these mental visions of going to the gym, banging out the meat of my workout, and then doing “more stuff”. As soon as I got into my worksets, I quickly scratched that idea. Top set, the last repetition was hard. Makes me a little worried about progressing next month. But I’ll try not to think that far ahead. I still reached my goal for the day.

Assistance work was harder, too. Though, it was really just the first set that felt most difficult. I was able to get into a rhythm in progressive sets.

Pull-ups felt very strong today. I felt a lot of strength from the bottom position. I always make sure to get a full stretch at the bottom so I know I’m not cheating range of motion.
