I was a good boy and didn’t do anything intense or time-consuming. Okay, I did a maximal set of pull-ups followed by some weighted pull-ups. But I haven’t been doing any maximal pulling, so I figure it’s just balancing it out. Plus, it’s still less volume of pulling than my average workout.
Cuban presses felt odd in my right shoulder. Not really pain, just odd. External rotation is your friend. The weight is, I believe, less than I would have been using if I had followed the recommended percentages for a shoulder press deload. I tend to put too much volume into my overhead pressing because I love moving stuff overhead. So. Doing less is definitely better.
Flew through my three sets of deadlifts. Done in less than a half hour.
Had a really relaxing yesterday. Slept in, for once. And had a quazi-siesta while cuddling into the girl while she played pokémon on her nintendo DS. I got to play Rock Band. Watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights and later Johnny Depp as a drunken pirate. She even let me play everquest on her `puter. Good time.
I turned off Roxanne for once, when I left on Saturday. I forgot how fast she boots. The only reason I don’t turn her off more often is because of the surge of electricity that runs through a computer when you turn them on, better to leave them on.
we were told at work to make sure we shut down our computers completely at least once every few days. apparently micosoft prodcuts like to leave cookies that delete once you reboot the computer. that leads to our sucky computers at work being even suckier. i personnally turn off mine every night but not every one does that.
