    Deadlift Day

    Deadlift:
    5 @ 135 lbs
    5 @ 190 lbs
    3 @ 225 lbs
    8 @ 250 lbs

    BB RDL:
    5×10 @ 135 lbs

    One-legged Back Extension:
    5×8 @ BW

Good workout. My high target for deads was 10. I figured I could hit eight. I powered through each rep, pausing for a split second at the bottom of each rep to really fill my lungs with air. Ninths rep, I had nothing left, so I stopped. This makes me want to jump ahead a few months, to get to the REALLY heavy stuff. But I said I’d follow the program…

Should be fine adding 10 lbs to romanian deadlifts. I feel it mostly in my grip, anyway.

Back extensions gave me a massive pump in my lower back. But they always do that. I kind of like them as a finisher. Low-impact, but definitely gets a lot of blood to a critical part of the body. Mind you, so I’m doing them unilaterally, it actually ends up being near 80 back extensions total, 40 per leg.

Will have no problem deloading my deads next week. Rest before the next cycle.
