Still the hardest day of the week. Hit the triple, and was able to get two more. After using 145, dropping back to 85 for my assistance work felt light. I’m finding that the hardest part for front squat, as I fatigue through higher reps, is my lockout. Which seems strange. I have a lot of strength coming out of the hole. No fear of depth, for sure. It just “feels” the hardest to hold good form as I get near lockout. Interesting. One of those rare times that maybe, just maybe, partial reps would help. But, that would require a heavier load, and I’m not about to start tweaking what isn’t broken.
Last time I did hanging leg raises, it was at the end of a circuit in.. I want to say Fat Loss III. I was metabolically exhausted at the time, and it made an imprint of this exercise being “hard”. What a difference when you’re not about to pass out!
Now I rest two days, and look to blow my singles out of the water next week. And then I rest. REST. MUST DELOAD.
