    DB Row: 5, 5, 5 @ 60 lbs

    Alternating Sets

    Pull-ups: 3×6, 5×5 @ BW

    RDLs: 3×5 @ 185 lbs

Matched my bench and row. I wonder just how much of a bonus post-workout nutrition makes. I’ve been leaving from Candi’s a lot to go to the gym on my way home, and I can’t make post-workout nutrition. I don’t think it makes a HUGE difference, but getting protein and carbs in me earlier has to make a small difference. A difference, nonetheless.

So much volume. 43 pull-ups today over 8 sets. It’s getting harder and harder not only to add reps, but to maintain reps towards the later sets.

Did RDLs instead of front squats, as my posterior chain felt a little tight today.

Girl and I watched the Lion King yesterday. I hadn’t seen it in years. I forgot what a heavy movie it is. To think it’s targeted at kids! I tolerate all the singing, but honestly, as a kid, I detested the singing portions of kiddie movies. The sequel, which I had no idea existed, felt like a TV episode. Which isn’t bad, it’s just impossible to match the level of destiny and seriousness the first one had.

I’m pretty sure that I didn’t like the singing when I was little, also. I haven’t seen the lion king in a long time.

yeah, recently Disney has been doing straight to dvd sequals to everything. Beauty and the Beast has like 3. i saw a few extra Cinderella sequals as well. weird. i loved the singing!!! that was the main reason i liked watching the movies as a kid. i still know all the songs from Pete’s Dragon.

I liked the singing. Still do. I think that the songs in Aladdin and Lion King are the only tolerable ones. Everything else was ok. I think I’ll pop that sucker in the VCR now…
