BB Shoulder Press:
5 @ 65 lbs
3×5 @ 80 lbs
Pull-ups:
6, 5, 5 @ BW
DB Bulgarian Split Squats:
3×5 @ 35 lbs
I remember how long my workouts used to be. It seemed like I would take nearly two hours to finish everything I did, warm-up, workout, intervals, cooldown, stretching. I was done today in maybe 45 minutes. Makes it so much easier to work out when I don’t have to worry about time constraints as much.
Nonetheless, I wasn’t in the mood to deadlift. End of the week, feel like I’ve gotten up early every day this week. Considered front squatting. Ended up doing bulgarian splits squats. Not easy, but unilateral work is always good and there’s reduced spinal loading.
Fourth is tomorrow. Never had a girl over the fourth. I used to drink and blabber about how lonely and sad I was. Maybe this year I’ll be telling her constantly that I love her. Every year I say that I don’t need to drink. I really don’t. I typically do anyway. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve imbibed in the past year. Every year is something different. I wonder what’ll happen this year.
