It is done, IT IS DONE.
I really wasn’t in the mood for this workout today, but I did it anyway because it was the last workout. Plus the girl mentioned recently how I’m looking all fit and sexy. It’s latently keeping me motivated.
I think Friday will be a dick-around day. I don’t really need days off, but I definitely need something to refresh my mind. Fat Loss III looks to be like HGM Phase I Advanced, except harder. I’m definitely intimidated. Part of me wants to ditch all of this and do something else. It’s freaking hard! But. I’ve lost around 9 lbs this phase. I otherwise feel great. I’m curious what one more month of kicking my own ass will do.
It’s clear I can’t add a fifth interval to the metabolic overdrive program. I just won’t have the motivation or drive to push myself. I may do some reading up on other HIIT routines, but I’m thinking of just slashing everything in half. That is, 30 seconds on, 60 seconds off, ten intervals. Same aggregate time being “intense”, but the intensity will be higher since it’s shorter. Trying to push yourself 100% for a minute is just too long. :: taps head :: I’m smart.
The weather is so awesome outside. Given that I reached my 3 mile goal, I think jogging 4-5 days a week isn’t outlandish.
I also intend to do a lockdown on what I eat. Not necessarily less, just trying to avoid unhealthy things to a greater degree. I love that I can still eat blueberry muffins and still drop my bodyfat. I rule. I’m just curious what’ll happen if I don’t eat the blueberry muffin. Just curious. We’ll see what happens. I decided to do this because I’ve never done it before. Just one more month and I can consider my experiment complete. And ideally never have to do it again. This is more taxing than strength training, in some ways!
