Overhead Press 10 second Isometric Holds:
4, 3, 3 @ 40 lbs

I’ve decided to end this little workout series soon. I’ll do my third day of the cycle on Monday, and then I’ll go into the gym and try to pull a new record, basically. I’ve been adding weight to the bar consistently for the past month without any problems. My upper body has stagnanted strength-wise, but that doesn’t matter as long as I see some growth. Moreover, the volume will make a difference next workout routine, when there will be considerably less volume.
I haven’t really done this high of reps for this high of weight before. Makes me feel good. Man, finishing that set of 205 lbs was hard. I think I could even pull it off at 215 lbs.
Tossed in some isometric holds at my sticking point, for the heck of it.
Yeah. I’m definitely ready for Hypertrophy II.
I wonder how much I’ll be able to pull. I recall pulling those 275 singles, and they felt great. I think I’ll just pull 3-2-1-1-1, etc. I should pull at least 285 lbs.
