Hang Clean, Squat, & Press: 10, 9, 8 @ 75 lbs (+2, +1, +0 reps)
RDL & Bent-over Row: 10, 9, 9 @ 105 lbs (+1, +1, +1 reps)
Superset:
Pull-ups: 5, 5, 4 @ BW (-1, +1, +0)
DB Incline Piston Press: 12, 11, 10 @ 35 lbs (+1, +1, +5 reps)
Pull-ups: 4, 3, 3 @ BW
Cuban Rotation: 2 @ 50 lbs / Dips: 7, 5 @ BW

I was doing my third set of the abdominal circuit. (If it was actually hard, maybe I’d call it the abominal abdominal circuit.) A guy changed the weight on my rope and started doing tricep.. something. Okay, no problem. I finish my side bends and get his attention, asking if I could do a quick set. You know, work in.
This guy gave me such an attitude, stating that I had left the equipment. He claimed that I couldn’t use two things at once. I said I was doing a circuit. I pointed out the ethics if I was doing a superset of bench and row, whether you should take his equipment. He said he didn’t care what I was doing. Which convinced me he had no idea what a superset was. I had already gotten another rope attachment for a nearby pulley and was ready to do my cable crunches. I told him he should be more considerate of other people, and left it at that. While doing a quick warm-up set for hang clean, squat, & press, I thought of how I’d like to tell him off, punctuating it with “choke on a dick”. I reminded myself not to get bothered by some douchebag. Sad thing is, the guy’s older. I seem to get better manners from younger guys. Or, at least guys not doing overhead tricep extensions.
Anyway, my hang clean, squat, and press form is getting better. I was running out of gas on my cleans, but I was getting better at really punctuating my push presses. I could feel the bar still traveling upward when I hit full extension. I was really sucking air after each set.
Who said I have a lower body emphasis? Ha ha. I did more pull-ups because, damn it, I’m bent on doing more pull-ups. I’m already plotting something to do after HGM, where I do pull-ups four days a week, with maybe two pairs of five sets of weighted pull-ups each workout. All else fails, crank up the frequency, and the volume.
Adjustments: This marks week three of Phase VI. I should be maxing out my reps soon.
