Exerbabble for 1-2-7

I’ve been on a man on a mission, more or less. It’s been an extremely stressful semester. Lifting has been one of those constants that keeps me sane, clears my head of everything else going on. But as a result of being so dedicated, I haven’t really taken some good rest time since August. And frankly, in the past couple weeks, I just haven’t had the same enthusiasm in my workouts. My general energy level is okay, but I’ve just been feeling kind of run-down during my workouts.

As a result of extended hang-out sessions, I decided to skip my two intended workouts for Tuesday and Wednesday. And frankly, I feel great. I may do something random later on Wednesday, if I feel like it at all. May not. I’ll hit my pair of upper/lower on Friday/Saturday. I’ll skip my pair on next tuesday/wednesday so I can socialize with Jen properly. I’ll start back on my regular lifting cycle on Friday/Saturday. Assuming I’m even in an upper/lower split by then. Yeah. I think I still will be. I was due to finish Phase V.. Oh whatever, it doesn’t matter. I just know I need some mental recovery time. And physical, really. One of those cumulative things, a week off really helps prevent injuries.

In other words, I intend to take it easy for the rest of break. I’ve been busting my ass, damn it!

I haven’t returned notes yet. Ha ha. Whoopsie. I should sleep now.

maybe you should just cut back now that your body knows where it wants to be.
