Daily Recap for 4-13-6
I tried dreaming last night. I’d wake up and roll over, wanting to dream. I don’t think I did, or I just forgot it all completely.
I sat here, not really sure what to do with myself. I reminded myself, “Take care of yourself first” and went to shower. A nice long hot shower, I shaved my genitalia.
I had a lot of time on my hands, but somehow it got away from me. I dressed and reminded myself to eat. I realized I’d be late for Systems Analysis. Not even in the van, I decided to skip the class. I brought a banana with me to snack on. Driving, I realized the passenger-side floormat was missing. I realized I never put it back in when I spilt milk on it, I wondered whether it had been long discarded a week ago.
Instead of classing, I went to the library and sat in the green chair reading Bertrand Russell. Calmed me.
On my way to Spanish, Ashley hailed me. Her Random Act of Affection probably changed my day. Felt better. Ate the banana after Spanish.
After Child Psych, headed to the Y. Except, I realized I forgot my little notecard at home. Without anything to annotate, I decided to just let it be a free day and do whatever I want. My hamstrings aren’t sore, but I feel like my flexibility has been impaired slightly. I know dynamic exercises, like the exercises themselves, can help flexibility. But I decided to do squats and back extensions instead, and to do my Romanian Deadlift on Saturday.
I saw a guy who had calves the size of forearms. That is why I do calf raises. I do not want to be that guy.
As soon as I got home, I finished off the cottage cheese and had some yogurt. Then went to Ruby Tuesday’s with my dad. Food was actually.. good. I’m kind of surprised. I rarely get decent food when I go out to eat. Heh. In retrospect, there probably isn’t a health gain in going to Ruby Tuesday’s over Taco Bell. Ha ha.
I need to call Cliff tomorrow, as school is off for some religious holiday. I don’t pay attention much, there’s always something interrupting my rhythm every couple of weeks. Is it the stupid jews or the stupid christians? Do we get off for Ramadan? That’s what I thought.
(I’ll admit my own ignorance, I don’t even know when Ramadan is. Part of wisdom is knowing what you don’t know. : D)
Spent some time turning my spare ideas for DateATimmy V that I’ve had for a while and wrote most of the entry that will be posted on Mary’s birthday. No way in hell I could have written an entry without having putting spare ideas in a private temp entry. I’m sure I’ll think of some other things to add between now and Sunday, but it’s otherwise created.
I’ll sleep now.
Since Ashley is comfortable giving hugs, maybe you could explain to her that your family is entirely non-affectionate and that getting a hug from her pretty much made your day. Then you could ask if she’d be willing to try and give you a hug whenever she sees you. I bet she’d be more than happy to do it. : )

It sounded like a pretty good day. *hugs*

I think we can’t get school off for Ramadan because that’s the one that isn’t just holiday, it’s month of ritual fasting and other things so it’d be impractical to take off for a whole month (unless I’m mixing it up with a different holiday, I will admit I’m quite stupid about other cultures).
Warning Comment
If we took all the religious holidays We would have no work days or school days. In China they go to school from 7am to 6pm ? Hows that grab you ? Why not just meditate and think about it while your doing nothing ? Shaving off genital hair ? I know it gets itchy. You need someone you like to rub some moisturiser in to ease the soreness. Do it yourself and you will be accused of you no what ?
Warning Comment
I am NOT. And good. : P But I still say you should ask her to give you one as often as she can. A lot of the times we just have to find alternative sources of affection, and friends are really, really good for that. YOU NEED HUGS.
Warning Comment
I think instead of these mass christian holidays being celebrated, there should be an agreed upon number of personal holidays you can take each year. That way people can take their own religious holidays off. I know that’d make things all complicated, but it’s the only fair way to get everyone’s holidays. And if you’re not religious, you could just sit around and do nothing.

I have a feeling you are going to piss some people off with this entry (stupid Jews, stupid christians). Haha. I’m not bothered, so whatever. I hope you’re well!
Warning Comment
RYN: But there is always the risk of cervical tearing and uterine rupture during the procedure which would effect future children.
Warning Comment
I have actually looked into the risks of abortion. Cervical tearing is a relatively common complication. On top of that, I do have endometrioses which affects my fertility anyway. Statistics or no, that is something that I have to think about carefully. In 2 years I may be infertile, it’s hard to say.
