COTTAGE CHEESE!

Oh yes, magical cottage cheese.

I had a relatively hard time falling asleep last night. I caught my mind wandering. Not really about bad things, I suppose. Half-hour of rolling around, I got up and talked to Heatherface for a bit. This is why I like going to bed early. I can have a hard time falling asleep, and not be sleep deprived.

When I got up, I downed a half-liter of water, and some FIBER. I did a mental account of how I’d get some food in me. I decided it would be best to work out after my three classes. Something to look forward it. It would relax me, I reasoned. This did put me at a food intake issue. I got to the café earlier than usual, and got the first soup of the day. It wasn’t the best, and tasted a little greasy, but it was something. That was a little before 10 AM. That would have to last until around 2 PM.

I reasoned, “Under normal circumstances, you’re not ALWAYS going to be exerting yourself with having a full tank of fuel.” Eating differently will help my body adapt. : D Or not, hey, whatever, just making due.

Today’s Workout:

    Pull-Up: 4×6 @ bodyweight
    Arnold Press: 10, 10, 8 @ 25 lbs
    Romanian Deadlift: 3×8 @ 125 lbs
    Crunches: 3×18 @ bodyweight
    Overhead Squat: 6, 6, 3, 4 @ 55 lbs
    Standing Calf Raise: 12, 12, 10 @ 280 lbs
    Bent-over Row: 3×8 @ 85 lbs
    Decline Press: 3×7 @ 100 lbs

Let’s see…

I had some issues with my overhead squat. Third and fourth set, I lost control of the bar. Not entirely chaotic, but enough to make me lower the bar and stop the set short.

I used the olympic bar for bent-over rows. It felt easier, maybe because I had a mirror in front of me. I didn’t get complete range of motion towards the end of the second and third set, but oh well. I made a mental note.

Don’t know, time went relatively fast. I amused myself by using my peripheral vision to notice those guys doing a million curls, isolation exercises, and no legwork. Saw an older fellow using the lat machine wrong. He didn’t have his upper arm against the pads, and was effectively using his triceps to assist the moment. If your arms are in the right spot, the machine will effectively overload your latissimus dorsi in a downward motion.

It’s nice out. I got home and downed half a container of cottage cheese. (Cup, I think.) Protein, anyway? To balance out my stomach a little, I had a banana as well.

Yes, I know this. I could do anything if I wanted to badly enough. Apparently, I want to smoke weed and play videogames more than I want to run miles or do pushups nowadays.

Cootage cheese upsets my tummy. Good luck with the workout.

Oh, and I really like the new layout.

I’ve never tried cottage cheese in my entire life. Although there is a little bit on the bottom of my ass. *nod*
