Morning of 1-18-6

*burps*

I’m tired. It’s not really a lack of sleep tired, but more Under The Weather. And look at that weather. It would be an awesome snowstorm outside if it weren’t for global warming. Instead, it’s a windy, rainy morning. Snow collects on you and is easily wiped away. Rain says “I AM A PART OF YOU NOW.” Meh.

I slept well last night. *wheezes* Have I mentioned my little cold? It’s taken its time building up. I woke up feeling like my throat was sore. It’s now definitely turned into a cough slash .. Well, whatever, it’s a cold.

As expected, the first day of Weight Training was This Is The Course. I somehow doubt I’ll be going to the Y later today. *burps* I’m a night person, we all know this. Yet the advantage of getting up early is that my brain isn’t active enough to argue with myself. I can easily crawl back into bed for more sleep anytime before noon. I could do it right now!

But, no. I think I’ll just relax until dinner, make myself do some spanish homework, then try reestablishing my pre-sleep routine.

I got some of my books for class. Some. I forgot to bring my bill with me, so I forgot what classes I was taking. *burps* I just don’t like buying books before I attend the first day of class. I stopped by ShopRite and stocked up on orange jews and tomato soup. I’m eating some right now. I passed by the deli, thinking I could get lunch meats, but chickened out yet again. That’s an incredibly intimidating social situation. *nods*

Naps aren’t good for me, as then I can’t fall asleep at night. Meh. Going to bed early doesn’t always work, because I sometimes can’t sleep the night. I’ve gone to bed at 9 or 10 or 11 PM, only to wake up around 1 or 2 AM, unable to fall back asleep at all. I fucking hate that. That’s the fear that keeps me up late at night.
