Dorney Park

rox0red. Were one of the first in the gate. Were the first four on Hydra. Later laughed at all the people stuck in lines. We blew through all the good coasters before lines really hit. And to think Liz had never been on a coaster before today. We blitzkrieged her, leaving her shaking from ride to ride. After we finished doing coasters, she calmed down and was all smiles.

It was Erik, Cliff Church, and Liz. Dan opted out because he had work, and our Cliff just wasn’t in the mood. Regardless, my nose is red and I’m exhausted.

On top of everything else, Liz got stuck on a ride. Ha ha.

I remember when I was terrified of rollercoasters. But that’s what made it great. I like feeling scared, it’s a powerful emotion. Now I’m not intimidated at all. All that’s left is enjoying the forces.

On the way there, we blasted Steal This Album. Can you say new musical association? I-E-A-I-A-I-O! *smiles*

*yawns* I’m going to go away now.

So is Hydra any good?

I’ve managed to ride quite a few of the coasters that always make the “Best coasters” lists, and enjoyed them all. Until, that is, I met my match on 6Flags “Goliath” in (more or less)LA. That coaster really made me afraid, something I’d never been before. Unfortunately, it also came with a 2.5 hour wait, so I haven’t re-done it yet. In fact, I’m kinda pissed at LA parks, because the lines are HUGE

everywhere. I used to think the east coast parks were bad, but not at all, compared to the LA area parks. For $35 (plus parking!), I want more than 5 rides and ten hours of staniding in lines.

I love it when it rains at the theme parks, all the queues evaporate and you can just blitz it around all the rides. Although the rain does hurt on some rides lol.

Going to a SOAD listening party on Monday to celebrate the new CD’s release on Tues. Schwee! And yay for amusement fun-ness too. ;o)

Oh, Dorney Park! I haven’t been there in three years! What a fun time. 🙂 (Your diary is less fun without your signature font. I reinstalled my OS and can’t find a place to re-download that font again. I hate Microsoft and Dell. *shakes head*)
