I’m awesome–o!

Quote of the day: “Do you have chicken nuggets?”

I believe I did say that there was McDonalds within an eyeshot of Panera, but she didn’t hear. Please, don’t bring picky kids to our restaurant unless you choose shit for them. Also, don’t obsess over what’s on our sandwiches unless you’ve had it and specifically didn’t like that particular condiment. GOUDA IS GOOD CHEESE, DIPSHITS. *laughs* People are weird. We also need a big sign saying no substitutions on hot sandwiches. OH GOD HORSERADISH, THE HORROR. People need to try new things, or at least accept that the taste of onions will not permeate a sandwich. Geez.

Ever have Chai Tea? Jenny and I invented a Chai IC. Okay, I’m sure some other rascally kids have done it before, but it tasted really good.

We closed with eight people tonight, which is way more than we needed. Normally it’s six and a manager. I remember a sunday when it was five of us and Angie. That was the first night I really did dishes, it was fun. Anyway, I pretty much finished closing by 8:20, but stuck around helping other people until 8:30. Hey, as long as I’m still on the clock.

I saw Cliff tonight after I came back here and changed clothes. He’s signed up for college courses. He’s undeclared! (Inside joke.) After finding a glitch in this star wars game for the xbox (you need somebody to break a forcefield, but said person wasn’t in his party and there was no way to put him in the party), we watched TV. I wonder, was TV this bad when I was little? Ugh. At least South Park was amusing.

what if someone is allergic to something? they might not tell you in an effort to not waste your time with long, drawn-out explainations, but there could very well be a good reason why people special order certain things. 🙂

Chai IC? Sounds yummers.

Slap Dash has a valid point… But Americans eat teh most incredibly boring, bland foods, with no experimentation. Granted, I’m not into squid, but I tried it.But damn, my youngest brother can eat McD’s three times a day for a year and not think about a change. Food experimentation is fun.

I couldn’t help but notice you’re a FFX fan – is that random cosplay on your front page, or is that your cosplay? Either way, it’s great 😀 I’m doing a FFX Shiva cosplay in August this year at my local con 🙂

Oh, and I used to work at a McDonalds store for 6 years – the food is so PLAIN there :/

Oh I see. I was thinking that your job sounds a lot like my old one. You work at Panera, I’d missed that. I worked at Schlotskies. Not the same, but similar. Mmm..now I’m hungry. I have a Panera card. I could go for some soup!

south park is good stuff, and its better to have more then too little think of closing as a bonding experience!

I love chai, but they put too much sugar in it at the local baristas.

Oh yeah – I, um, “saw” you over at ratemyschlong. Captain Quack indeed. 😀

The way you write about Panera cracks me up. I have plans to go there for lunch later on this week. I’ll let you know how it works out for both of us (myself as well as the people who help me out). “Awesome-O”… haha. I really need to start watching South Park again. *Sigh*

I want Mcdonalds. not really, trying to loose some weight. hehehehe

i’ve had horseradish, and don’t particularly care for it. but it’s easy to remove from panera sandwiches so it’s not a travesty for me to do it myself, ya know? i can’t believe someone asked for chicken nuggets. I’m sorry, does the MENU say there are chicken nuggets? no? well then! silly woman.

Ever hear “The customer is always right?” We pay five dollars for a turkey sandwich because we’re too damn busy to make it at home, not too lazy. My co-workers and I gave up panera because they wouldn’t make hot sandwiches to order. We drop our money elsewhere now. And that’s why Panera won’t be around for long. At least not without making some changes.

Chai tea is redundant. Chai is a Hindi word that means tea, which is where they got it from. So basically it’s just Tea tea.

TV was awesome when all of us were young. You know we only matter for a certain age before we’re left for a younger model (media wise, in case you missed that). *smirks*

I was going to note about the gouda last entry, but yeah gouda is good! A full cheese with a nice flavor, smoked is nice too. Heavier than American cheese, but then again so is jack cheese and mozzerella, and no one has a problem with those!
