Physical Intimacy Fantasizing Survey.

I’m posting this entry to prove a point, and hopefully make a lot of people more comfortable with something they assume they were alone in doing.

Plenty of times I’ll lay in bed and imagine myself being touched by a lover. Sprawled out in my bed, I’ll run my hands over myself, as if a familiar lover would. And, of course, imagine us kissing.

Rather simple.

Have you ever laid in bed and imagined yourself being physically intimate? Obviously, physical intimacy ranges from carasses to hugs to simple kisses to, well, more intimate activities. The best description of physical intimacy that I’ve come up with is simply allowing somebody into your personal space. How you want to interpret physical intimacy is ultimately up to you.

When I sleep, I always sleep on my side, tucking a pillow between my upper arm and my torso. I’ve done this for most of my adult life, wishful thinking that there will someday be someone there, spooning me and resting his arm where the pillow is now. Sometimes, I’d imagine his hand wandering, to grope my chest reassuringly and sleepily, and as I roll over to face him a little, slipping down–

–my torso, touching other things. And I imagine turning my head as far around as I can so that we can kiss. Usually nothing more racey than that, but it’s very comforting. 🙂 Yeah, everyone else is answering tersely. I’m too damn babbly. 😉

ya 🙂

January 5, 2005

Aye, captain!

January 5, 2005

Intiresting! I’ve done that, but its never been anything outside of imaginary 🙂

Yes, of course. I would be most surprised if anyone answered no to this question.

^^^Mercuria, the hottest selling item in Japan right now is a pillow with a (masculine, although a feminine version is also available) arm and “hand” attached to provide the illusion of a bedmate.

January 5, 2005

^um.. bedmate cuddling you. Get those dirty thought out of your mind 🙂

Indeed. I just want to be held. I saw the picture of the female lap pillow thats selling in Japan. I thought it was pretty funny.

Of course… after all, the imagined kind is all I’m getting.

January 5, 2005

Allllll the time. lol 😉

Kissing is the best, with out it , its just screwing, pretending or otherwise

January 5, 2005

Yes i have

Who hasn’t? <3

Oh, most definitely 🙂

January 6, 2005

I used to do it all the time. Not really anymore though, i miss that 🙁

January 6, 2005

Of course. Ironically, I was imagining myself in such a situation before I came online. It’s perfectly natural and healthy for human beings to have this sort of thing going on! Anyone who says otherwise is either lying, inexperienced, or just plain weird.

RYN: I hope that my love for Zoolander can carry us through this…but can you even marry a character created on an Xbox?

It is automatic for me to sleep with my arm wrapped around something. Be it pillow, mattress, doona, or even myself. Both compulsive and involuntary.

I also forgot to mention that the cat gets unconscious hugging. Think of that what you will. >:P

*nodding* Uh-huh.

ryn: in fact, i was breastfed for just over a year after i was born. i drank regular milk constantly until i was about 12. thing is, it’s natural for people to lose their appreciation (or even tolerance) for milk once they stop growing. it’s when your bones no longer need the added calcium for growth.

…one cool study would be to see how the menstrual system uses or rejects milk. i can’t eat excessive dairy when i’m menstruating, or i get incredibly sick. and my mom became that way after her hystorectomy. and yes, i stopped growing at 12. 5’4″

January 6, 2005

Yeah… but who hasn’t?The trick is to not let your boyfriend know that you’re doing this.:

January 6, 2005

yes.

January 6, 2005

quite frequently.

RYN: I think that EVERYONE needs to know WHERE ALL things come from — literature, movies, etc. If this means that kids have to read Shakespeare and know who Cary Grant is then so be it. I understand the “point” you were trying to get across though… Kids don’t have the interest due to the short attention span thing… That’s how it is now… Sucks really.

Oh by the way, which anime does Yojimbo come from? Or am I incorrect in assuming that he(?) is from anime?

January 7, 2005

Of course… who hasn’t?

January 7, 2005

Shit! I’m fantasizing now! *smirks* =)

Now if I can just get addresses to go along with all these notes, I’ll be set! —
