Too behind to even consider catching up, so this is what you get:

• D&D not actually cancelled – well, kind of, but only for one week.  Now back to normal, except Overly Dramatic Woman has been replaced with a guy who is a fantastic player.  Much happier overall, though we’ll all have to deal with the fallout when ODW learns we’ve resumed play…assuming she ever does.
• Was lazy about homeschooling in January and February due to travel and illness, but really want to be done before we go to FL in May for my niece’s high school graduation – so we’re currently cramming 6 weeks of material into 4 weeks.  It’s not as intense as it sounds; remember, I’m dealing with PreK-4 and Kindergarten curriculum here, but it’s more intense than it has been.  
• Starting my own CC group.  Second info meeting tonight.  A fair amount of interest, but no one has actually paid me a deposit yet to hold a spot for them in the fall 🙁  Hoping that will change soon!
• Going to Vegas with DH in May!  He’s going for a conference, and it’s about a week before my niece’s graduation so I’m taking the kids to FL to leave them with my sister while I go to Vegas to meet DH.  He can conference all day while I hang out by the pool, then we’ll party at night 🙂
• Won the lottery – sort of.  Not a financial lottery, but the lottery for the Peachtree Road Race.  Put my name in on a lark and was totally not expecting to win; now I’m training like mad and hoping I’ll somehow build up enough stamina to run a 10K in July!
• Watched Food Inc. and read a book on clean eating; now I’m trying to clean up our eating habits for real.  Kids are not pleased.  First big change was switching from regular bread to Ezekiel bread, and both of them are rebelling.  They’ll have to get used to it because I’m not backing down on this one 🙂

That’s it for now.  Must go prepare for info meeting.  Slightly concerned that no one will show up, despite madly posting announcements to any and all homeschool boards I could find online…
