NoJoMo #23

What do would any normal person do upon finding their ex-husband’s profile on FB?  Leave it alone.  What did I do?  Send him a friend request.  Call it morbid curiosity.  It’s been a long time (we married in 1993 and divorced in 1995), and our last communication wasn’t entirely hostile – I’m just curious what he’s up to these days.  I won’t get my feelings hurt if he just ignores the request, but it will be interesting to see how this plays out if he doesn’t.

In other news, Sophie has an awful cold.  I took her to the pediatrician this morning to be sure it wasn’t either strep or an ear infection (both of which are recurring in our household), and she threw up on the doctor.  Fortunately, it doesn’t appear to be either strep or an ear infection, and the doc thought the only reason she threw up was from mucous in her stomach.  

DH took the day off work today, so after the visit to the pediatrician, we took the kids to see The Muppets.  It was adorable, I think I have at least one season of the show on DVD and I really need to break that out one of these days.  I forgot how much I love the Muppets!  Then we came home and I went on a cleaning frenzy.  I’m having some friends over to watch geeky holiday movies on Friday, so I want to put up my Christmas stuff tomorrow night after the kids go to bed.  We’ll see if that actually happens.
