The Inner Circle

NOjOmO DAY 3

I couldn’t help it, here is another digi

It’s 12:17pm and I’m still in my snow flake jammies.

This little ditty just won’t escape my brain:

It’s raining, it’s pouring the old man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his head and he couldn’t get up in the morning.

I’m drinking hot apple cider-it’s the best because it’s made with Gala apples, which just happens to be one of my favorite kind of apples- oh so delicous.

So.

Let me rap up my halloween party: The weather “oh dear” It rained cats and dogs and big pink cadillacs. It poured and it didn’t stop for two straight days. It’s a good thing I love the rain because I wasn’t going to let the rain put a damper on my party.

I had a nice group of party goers, albeit many neighbors stayed home in their nice warm cabins but the ones that did attend are the ever so faithful; my new inner circle of friends. Our Huge $60 tarp kept everyone warm and dry. We ate rib eye steak and green beans with thick slabs of bacon. My neighbor, Denny, brought hot Fajitta soup in a big keg like thermas. It was so good that I had three hearty helpings. Sue and Joe’s mac and cheese was also quite delectable. Not a hungry belly to be found. We drank cheap wine, Thomas Kemper soda and hot apple cider which was brewing on the fire grate. As we ate and drank, we listened to my Halloween Howl playlist and when the night wore on the inner circle bunkered closely around the fire listening and singing to the best of John Denver. Who would’ve known that my neighbors can all sing in perfect harmony.

It really was a wonderful party!

That party sounds just like what John Denver had in mind when he recorded his music! How fun!

Wow. That sounds so fun! I’m glad that you have such nice neighbors. 🙂
