Wag More Bark Less

I’ve been spotting these bumper stickers displayed proudly on many cars jetting down Interstate 90. This slogan always makes me smile. Such a simple statement that speaks volumes. If only everyone could follow this simple instruction, it would be such a happy place this big big world we call earth.

I just ordered a bumper sticker $2.50 with free shipping~yeah! I can’t wait to slap it on my new car..Oh, I haven’t mentioned yet but I’m a proud new owner of this

I have traded in my car-a Honda ex civic coupe in for a Ford Escape. In the days before buying the car, ever time I would see one out in about, my heart would leap–“lookie look there is my car driving down the road. “I’m going to be driving one of those cars”. I know my husband would tire of my perpetual drooling over the escape. Now, I’m so happy because it’s all mine. I still get getty with excitement when I get behind the wheel. I had to have a 4 wheel drive car to keep me safe during the treacherous long long long winters here at Snoqualmie Pass. I can’t begin to tell you how many upside down cars I see along interstate 90. I pray that lord willing it want be my turn to leave this world–I’m to young to die. So I made sure I have a super safe car. I’m still learning how to drive it, So many buttons and gadgets and 7 different types of wiper speeds and 6 different types of lights. I’m still getting confused. I love How I can plug in my Ipod, and there is all the preset buttons for the radio. The radio even tells you what song is playing. It’s really super duper comfy to drive and I feel really safe. Six air bags including the side air bags, If I’m going to flip I will most definitely flip inStyle. Oh, and there is this thing called traction control, apparently it’s supposed to control your skid not quite sure how this will work, but I’m guessing I will come to find out this winter. As you can see in the picture, beautiful Marley really enjoys the back end of the car. Happy dog(!) I do need to buy a pet rubber liner for the back and some kind of fencing to keep the dogs from jumping over into the back seat.

I haven’t written online lately, because I have been writing everyday in my paper journal. That’s why you haven’t seen me around on OD. I have forgotten how fun it is to actually write again with pen and paper. I want to thumb through the pages of my many journal books when I’m 90 years old, I want to remember the most simple things in life, the big things, sad days, and the random things–I even toss in some political rants here and there. (Something I would never do an OD–I would hate to offend anyone for fear of being blocked.) I write down on paper because who knows if the Internet might crash someday. Who knows what kind of world we will be living in, Things are changing quite rapidly in this world and I fear for bad times ahead. So, I write and write and sparkle it with my creative juices. I have been keeping my goal lists, things I want, things I need, things that inspire me. Just a collection of thoughts written down in my best handwriting. I embellish my journal with clipped photos, paste pictures using my glue stick, Today I found a stellar blue jay feather this was adhered to My August 14th entry. I also came across a beautiful quote on my facebook page-this too was added to my paper journal–and now here

So people lets have some more wagging and less barking–this would make for a good poster for the health care town meetings.
