I hope you soar!
Please excuse me, but I’m still stuck on the beachy theme, I just can’t get past this very* very* and extra very long winter we are having here in Washington State. The beach theme gives me the mind set for better weather ahead. My hubby and I paid a visit to our cabin and soon to be our permanent home this past weekend. It snowed for 48 hours straight. I haven’t checked the radar but I’m sure the snow is coming down still and no sign of it letting up. It was a scary ride coming down the mountain pass with white out weather conditions. I was surprised that the Washington State Patrol didn’t shut down the pass. There are many times they do shut down the pass and I didn’t think it was necessary, but today I wished they would have closed it. I’m thankful that my husband has a 4 wheel drive and considers himself an expert driver. I would never want to drive in this type of driving situation. Now, I’m a little worried about me driving to work and keeping myself alive. I would have to drive up and down the pass in order to get to work and back home. Just something for me to think about and add to my worry list.
My husband has finished building his three houses. He will be getting paid about $13,000. This money will not last very long, the bills are stacking up and We need to buy some items to make our cabin more live able such as a water heater, finishing up the shower tile, (husband never gets enough supplies) he is almost done just needs to get about 3 more tiles at Home Depot.
He is finishing up the interior of my “creativity room” up stairs. This room will be used to house all my scrapbooking, art stuff, books, office desk, computer. I want to buy some crystal snow fakes to hang down from the ceiling. We still have our fake christmas tree up downstairs, I’m thinking about moving it up to my room. My husband doesn’t like to have christmas all year round. LOL
Well it’s almost time for work. Mondays are always hard since I’ve been gone for two days. Need to catch up on all the comings and goings. When I left on Friday, I had lost a resident. He wouldn’t be coming back from the hospital, I got a call from a hospice nurse, this isn’t good when you get a call from hospice. Looks like my resident has taken a turn for the worse, and is non resposive at the hospital. I have been his nurse for the last four years.
Good bye Mr Jackson, i hope you soar~
that is a great picture…

That is so sad that you have lost a patient. Be proud of how you helped make his life better for the past four years. Ok, I realize it’s cold there and snows a lot, but won’t it end soon? I mean, really…it doesn’t snow year-round, does it? I hope things get better for you soon.

it sounds like the cabin is coming along…hopefully it will all come together soon, and you can make it a ‘home’. I will pray for the Jackson family, I know how you feel.
