I’m wondering how much it would cost to maintain a 2.5 millon dollar big house..how much would the property taxes cost each year? I read somewhere that many winners have to sell because they can’t afford to live in the lap of luxury.

I have a secret…and I can’t wait until my man gets home from work. I bought him a guitar, lesson book, and a case. He bought his daughter a guitar for Christmas and I noticed that he was trying to play it. He says he is playing by ear. So, this morning I drove by the music store and decided to buy one for him. Just because…! I have it hidden under the covers on his side of the bed. I can’t wait to see the expression on his face when he thinks it’s me under the covers.

RYN: It would be awesome to live on a floating house except the one’s in Seattle are around 3 million dollars more than I can afford! lol That house up there doesn’t look so bad either!! M.

I registered for the kicks of it all, however, one must not forget the 1million in income taxes that need to be paid on winning – so that means if you don’t have the cash – then you’d have to mortgage the house with a monthly payment of something around 6,000 a month, not including taxes and insurance. So say 8 grand a month to keep the place. But, it’s DEDUCTIBLE.
