BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE

Burrrrrrrrrr

Is it just me or did I put these snowshoes on the wrong feet??? The snow was so.so.so. deep remember we have to hike into our cabin. According to Eddie’s (BB) calculations there is 7 feet of snow. Picture me with a back pack about 30 lbs, camera dangling from my neck and my laptop bag wrapped around my shoulder –chanting to myself–must not fall into the snow– number 1 reason I don’t want to get my computer wet and number 2 reason I’m not wearing gloves. (couldn’t find them) Snow is very cold! Wondering why in the heck I didn’t put my snowshoes on to make for a better trip to the cabin–Have you ever had your foot stuck into the snow and for the life of you are unable to get out “help i’m stuck and I can’t get up”–you better believe I put them on for the return trip to the car to go home. LESSON LEARNED!!!

Without any snow…there are 10 steps up to our cabin–all the steps were covered with snow. We didn’t even bother to shovel the snow off since it was snowing and snowing and snowing.–GOD I LOVE THE SNOW!!

Here is a pictute of our neigbor’s cabin–the snow just piles up higher and higher. I don’t think their Costco snowblower will put a dent into all this snow.

I love just lazing around at the cabin WORK IS ON THE BACK BURNER it’s my time to relax, read, play, eat, and watch movies. I really enjoyed the movie GRIZZLY MAN about Treadwell who lived with the bears in Alaska for 13 summers and who unfortunately- was eaten by one of the bears. His fatal mistake was choosing to go into the bear maze to camp. The most dangerous place in the world to camp. His ego got the best of him. He was crazy–I’m thinking mentally crazy.

I would love to be as courageous as Treadwell, But I’m too normal. Just camping for 3 months during the summer of course would be fine for me. Living off the land kind of a thing. –I’m dreaming– I would just love to escape civilization for awhile ==smiles==

[ASIDE] IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW THIS –I MUST TELL YOU THE SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL
