TAKING A DEEP BREATH

I have been very lucky to be able to use my desk top because my computer has been attacked by a “third party”. I think one of BB’s boys was playing on my computer during the night doing God knows what? So I have a window of opportunity here to write about my Thanksgiving prepartions. I got up at the crack of dawn like I do every day. My body wont let me sleep in -my body says COFFEE, COFFEE, COMPUTER, COMPUTER, NEWS-so I must get out of bed. BB left early to finish up building a roof, tresses, etc. He is the amazing one man crew at his work site. He says “Why pay for a laborer when you can pocket the $15,000 for framing a house by yourself. BB does two homes a month. A very good income-but I do wish he would get some help because there are many days he can barely climb up the stairs.

So, I’m home alone today cleaning the house in prepartion for Thanksgiving.

This is what I have done thus far:

Note to self: Fly lady says that I must be dressed-not in my JJ’s but dressed to impress, Ha! wondering if I should wear my French maid outfit..Just kidding(:

Sent out my E-Invites to my sisters and guest

Search the internet for Thanksgiving recipes

Go to Michaels and spend $40.00 on Garland for the fire place, arts and crafts supplies for the children. This is crucial-must keep the kids busy and happy making stuff.

Go to x boyfriends house and pick up my digital camera that he has had for three weeks–HE IS STILL A PERVERT! he will never change and to think I created a monster–a whole never story here.

Drink another Mac Frost Winter Ale

Clean out linen closet-collect stuff for the Goodwill

Clean out the hall closet so guest can hang up their coats

drink another beer

Put pot roast in oven

Washing clothes this will never end will it?

When I get to heaven, I will not have to wash clothes–this makes me smile.

Things to do on monday:

1) All the bathrooms–where is my maid when I need her the most!!!!

2) Set the tables to make sure I have enough place settings: plates, cups silverware, I know I need to borrow more chairs!!

3) I need a big pot for making mash potatoes–ran out last year!

Borrow a biG coffee pot-industrial size would be good

4) Turkey!! think about getting two turkeys. Wondering if it is possible to make two turkeys on Thanksgiving back to back–has this been done before? BB’s mother will be making a turky too.

I think I need another beer…

CAN YOU SAY Relax!!

the 2 turkey problem was the reason I made a ham and a turkey. hang in there. 3 more days!

i think hard liquor would work better than beer – just saying (although personally, i may never drink again)

we arent cooking this year thank goodness! lol… we have cooked or the last two years.have a great time!(((hugs)))

The two-turkeys-back-to-back: done that. It’s gonna be great. And I was so glad to read “mashed” potatoes instead of what my hubby calls this dish: “creamed potatoes”. Drives me crazy when he uses that term. He is absolutely certain that creamed potatoes is the proper name. But then, he’s never been north of Channelview, Texas so he hasn’t a clue. 🙂

Today is my first day off in a long time. And my body’s subconscience alarm clock refused to let me sleep in today. Pfft. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
