LOSING YOURSELF

Oh God!! I can’t wait until the weekend. It has been such a busy work week with so much paperwork and not enough time. The Health Service Director is depending on me for way to much stuff. It seems that I’m doing all the work. Isn’t it funny how the more money you make the less you do. My opinion of course. I have been working extra hard this month because I know that she is a month late with my evaluation and raise. It really sucked that she made me evaluate myself–don’t you just hate that!! I know my work is outstanding but should I dare be truthful. What if she thought I was just an average worker. So I comprised and checked all the “very good” boxes, albeit, deep inside of me I know that I’am an outstanding employee.

I’m so looking forward to the weekend. We are going to run to the hills of Snowqualmie and leave this world as we know it behind us. I want to start a rip roaring fire in the wood stove using our finest and driest Madrona, watch the second season of Little House on the Pariare and lose myself into the way things used to be, I want to snowshoe at the crack of dawn, paying close attention to the animal tracks– I want to laugh myself silly rolling down enchantment hill praying to God that I don’t break any bones or kill myself with my snowboarding adventures. Just maybe I will think about doing some extreme snowboarding. I was even thinking about snowboarding in the nude and have bb take a picture of me just to have the memory when I’m 98 years old

oh man… sounds like a grand weekend. i’m jealous… instead of tumbling down a powder-blanketed mountain i’ll do a bit of tumbling in sheets with a lovely boy, and a lot more of mentally preparing myself to kick school’s ass for the rest of the semester. i hope tomorrow’s a really, really long day. (because egads i don’t want monday to come!) <3clea

Snow sounds a little too cold for me right now. I’m enjoying the spring sunshine.

You ride. That kicks ass. And backcountry…I’m even more impressed. Nice to see another Shredder Betty. P.S. Nice deck.

I hope your weekend was very relaxing. And yep is some places, the more they make the less they do. Now where I work, some of the better paid work really hard and long hours. They earn every penny they make.
