So shines a good deed in a weary world.

I watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory tonight with Sage. The excellent original version, not the piece of crap with Johnny Depp. To me, there will be no other Willy Wonka than Gene Wilder.

Sage loved it. She sat for most of the time it was on, entranced. She thought it was funny and she loved the songs. The only thing is that I had to keep telling her that there is no beer and that Peter and Brian weren’t going to show up. Yes, I let my three year old watch Family Guy. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Willy Wonka: But Charlie, don’t forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he he always wanted.

Charlie Bucket: What happened?

Willy Wonka: He lived happily ever after.

I worked in the Home department, that was fun during the holiday season, but after January was over it was normal to get only two or three customers a day.A DAY!I wanted to hang myself with licorice rope.
