Mornings

I love ’em. I’m a morning person. I have a routine that I like, if it gets broken then my day is shot. Does that sound a little OCD? Anyways, I get up and make my coffee. If it’s a work day I get a shower right away while the coffee’s brewing, if not then I skip to the next step. The morning paper. I’m mainly dig the comics page but I really do enjoy knowing what’s going on in the world, good and bad. I’m not a 10 o’clock news person or an internet news person, I pretty much solely get my goings on through the morning paper and whatever news I hear on the radio when driving. After the paper it’s either off to work I go or too the living room I go. If I’m not rushing off to work then by this time Sage is usually up and it’s time for us to play. And we like watching Spongebob together. He’s so funny.

Today though is a little different. Sage is still sleeping (late night last night), I’m going into work at an odd time (10 when usually I have to be there at either 7 or 12), and so my routine is a little off. But that’s ok, it has given me this time to write.

I’m feeling good about this. I think that I can keep it up. I like writing and though I’m not a natural, it’s very rewarding to see my words up even just on my diary.
