I Got Canned Today

I knew that it was bound to happen sooner or later.

I went into Toys ‘R Us tonight to pick up my paycheck and get my schedule for next week. The manager ended up pulling me into her office and told me that they just couldn’t work around my other job anymore and they had to let me go.

Now, what I wanted to say was “Oh suck my sweaty balls. You’ve been mistreating me and the other employees here ever since you took over the store. You can take this job and shove it up your fat fucking ass!” Unfortuneatly I’m not that type of person. Instead, I told her that I understand and that it was ok.

So now we’re going to have a bit of money trouble. The extra job paid the rent on our house. Of course the rent is going to Sharon’s dad and he’ll be understanding if we don’t have it right on the first of the month. But I’d like to get it to him on time. It shows responsibility and it’s just the principal of the matter.

It’s time to tighten our belts around here. I’ll have to start searching for another part time job. I think I’ll be hitting up stores like Gamestop, Electronics Boutique, and others of that nature. Family Video, Blockbuster and Rick’s Video are on my list too. Of course I could always apply at the new Linens N Things that’s getting ready to open up.
