‘Twas the Night Before the Night Before Christmas

And all through the house, me and the wife are stirring and we’re making some drinks.

The baby is with her grandma tonight and tonight was the last night of my marathon work week. I’ve worked a total of 104 hours over the last eight days straight. So to celebrate my huge paychecks (this week and next week with holiday pay) we’re gonna get a bit snockered tonight. It’s cool though cause we’re sleeping in tomorrow and we’ll pick up the baby sometime in the day from Grandma Mary. Fact, I’ve already started drinking.

It’s been such an exhausting week and I never get the chance anymore to sit down and have a few. Or write on here even. I think that it’s going to take me a while yet before I’m really used to the idea that I’m a family man. My time is not my own anymore. You’d think that I’d know that by now since it’s been eight months of marraige and four and a half with a baby. Yes, for those of you who happened on my diary by accident, the baby happened before the marraige.

Well, drinks are here so it’s time to go. I’ll write more over the next couple of days. I really want to catch up with all of my favorites who I’ve been neglecting. Sorry everybody.

Until the next time, goodnight.

104 hours?! You deserve a drink! Or two. Or three. Or… 😉

Merry holidays to you and yours and all that goodness.Heh. Ummm. Sure!

Hmmm. You should probably take a vacation, methinks. Get some rest, you’re working too hard.I know, I know…the baby and all that. But damn, dont kill yourself!! Your child is important but she needs a pappy around. I’ll shut up.
