Hello everyone,

Been quite a while since I’ve done a survey so I did two of them.  I swiped them from Pandora but I don’t think she even reads me so I think it should be okay.

What is your favorite take-out?

Probably Chinese. My favorites are chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, beef with snow peas and chicken chow mein.

Ever met anyone named Yvonne?

Not that I recall.

Do you know what you’re going to name your children?

Well I know what I named the one I have J .

Did you ever wear glasses?

I need glasses so badly. I am actually supposed to wear bifocals but I haven’t had a pair in several years. For now I just have to make do with drug store non-prescription glasses so I can read. For distance, I just have to squint.

High School Musical is the best thing since sliced bread, right?

Actually I enjoyed it. I loved musicals.

What have you eaten today?

Feeling a little icky today so I had a sandwich for lunch and I think that will be it.

Do you know what the word "ubiquitous" means?

No and I’m too lazy to look it up (keeping Pandora’s answer).

What does your English teacher look like?

I’m guessing not too good. She is either dead or very very old.

Do you own any ballet flats?

No.

Bright colors are cool, right?

Yes! I love bright colors.

Is anything on your body itchy right now?

Nope.

Does your dad have an accent?

My dad is deceased, but no, he didn’t have an accent.

Does it bother you when people don’t differentiate between your and you’re?

Actually it does. Any kind of spelling or grammatical error bugs me. It’s the only thing I’m the least bit snobby about LOL. Now having said that, I’ll probably make a dozen mistakes myself!

What products do you use in the shower?
 

I don’t like soap. I prefer body wash, but again, as long as it smells nice, I’m fine with it..

On my face I have always used Noxema or fake Noxema that you get at the dollar store which I think works just as well.

What was the worst part of your week?

There have been no really bad parts. Makayla has had a few meltdowns this week and made her mother angry, but aside from that, all is good.

How long can you run without stopping?

Haha! Good one!

How’s your hair right now?

Well it’s clean and smells nice thank you very much! I hate the color but love the cut (which I did myself).

What’s the best flavor of ice cream?

I’m not a big ice cream fan but if I go somewhere specifically for ice cream, I choose either chocolate or peach.

Do you like to play solitaire?

I like to play online solitaire and a few other online games. My favorites are Scrabble and Scramble.

When was the last time you used the restroom?

Weird question! About 45 minutes ago.

Have you ever taken a psychology course?

Yes and I loved it! I want to take more.

Has anyone ever called you a prude?

Surprisingly yes. And to be honest, I have become much more prudish in the last few years.

What kind of guys do you usually go for?

ONES WITH TITS! Okay this is actually Pandora’s answer but I thought it was hysterical. As for me, I like guys who are tall because I am tall, someone with some meat on their bones. I’m not too picky about looks but I do want someone with good hygiene and good teeth. I also want someone kind, funny and spiritual.

How long is your hair?

It’s layered but the longest parts are to my shoulder.

How long has it been since you went for a walk just to go for a walk?

Well in my current state of health and physical condition, it’s almost impossible for me to go for a walk of any length. It sounds like a really nice idea though.

Iceberg lettuce is gross, right?

Actually I like iceberg lettuce, especially on sandwiches.

When is the last time you talked to a sibling?

I talked to my sister on the phone this morning.

If I had my way, I’d use nothing but Pantene hair products. I love them! Unfortunately, they’re (or is it there? HAHA) quite expensive so I usually opt for anything cheap as long as it smells nice.

THE FOOD SURVEY

How do you like your eggs?

I love eggs! I like ‘em poached, fried, scrambled or in an omelet.

How do you take your coffee/tea?

I like my coffee black, my tea with just a little bit of sugar.

Favorite breakfast food?

I guess it would be a bagel with cream cheese or peanut butter, coffee and a large tomato juice. If I go out for breakfast (which is rare), I would probably choose pancakes or eggs benedict, coffee and tomato juice.

Peanut butter: Smooth or crunchy?

Smooth although I’m not opposed to crunchy.

What kind of dressing on your salad?

Italian or something close to it.

You’re feeling lazy, what do you make?

Something that doesn’t require any more cooking than the microwave provides. Maybe soup, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, popcorn or a banana.

You’re feeling really lazy, what kind of pizza do you order?

I always love tomatoes on my pizza. I also like spinach, onions, veggie pizza, and occasionally sausage.

You feel like cooking, what do you make?

Vegetable and beef soup! I love making that. All the chopping and dicing is soothing for some reason. I also enjoy making meatloaf, mac and cheese, potato salad, pasta salad, baked chicken and chili.

Do any foods bring back good memories?

Oh definitely. Anything that my mother cooked, especially her pork chop pot pie, meatloaf, potato salad, stuffing, salisbury steak and mac and cheese. She also made the best tuna salad I’ve ever tasted.

What was your favorite food as a child?

Probably spaghetti.

Is there a food you hated as a child that you like now?

Onions.

Favorite fruit and vegetable?

Fruit would be bananas or oranges. Vegetable would be tomato but I love them all.

Favorite junk food?

Chocolate.

Do you have any weird food habits?

Only that I hate to sit around the table after I’ve eaten. It’s one thing if I’m in a restaurant and the dishes have been cleared away, but at home, when I’m done, I’m done. Let’s get these dishes taken care of! LOL

You’re on a diet, what foods do you fill up on?

Flavored rice cakes, vegetable soup, fruit, granola bars, peach yogurt.

You’re off your diet, what would you like?

Pasta, seafood, chocolate.

Can I get you a drink?

I don’t drink alcohol but I would love an iced tea. Very little sugar and lemon please. Ice water is always welcome too.

Favorite dessert?

Yellow birthday cake with white icing and vanilla ice cream.

The perfect nightcap?

Apple cinnamon spiced tea

I rarely drink soda but I definitely prefer Coke.
