3mi

Finally, pushed out 3 miles today, with only 2 laps of walking (8 laps = 1mi). Emi came down from where she lives and we went running together. That really helped, cuz 24 laps all by oneself is mind-numbing to me, and not in a good way. Also, she kept track of the laps which was extra helpful because one of the things that has been keeping me from going 3 miles is that in order to keep track of my laps I have to obsess over which lap I’m on, which makes it soooooo tedious! So it was good that she kept track. After we ran we did some weight machines, so now my arms are achy, but that’s ok. Then we went to the coffee shop and had coffee and bagels while playing Scrabble.

(Anyone who is a scrabble fan will know what’s wrong with this hand!) Thankfully we weren’t keeping score, cuz that wasn’t the only abnormality. We did a tile check when we were done playing and discovered plenty of discrepancies hehehe)

Now we are "racing" which is when we decide to help each other clean by cleaning. (For example, we both have laundry to do, so we’ll race each other to get the laundry done. And in between while it is washing or whatever, she’ll do a task like her dishes and I’ll clean the cat pans or something. Moral support, yo.)

I start back to work full time tomorrow. With an extra long 9am-8pm shift. But I’m cashier now, so even tho it’s a long day I’m hoping it won’t be as taxing as when I was line runner. It will be more boring, but oh well. All I’ll have to do is swipe cards, smile, refill the cereals and make sure the napkins and condiments on the tables are full. (There is a bit more to it than that, but not much)

And here’s the puppy picture of the day, cuz I love when I just catch glimpses of her snoozing away….

That’s three miles more than me. Moral support is good. Is there a moralsupport.com? I bet people could come up with lots of moral (and immoral) support ideas to encourage people who need incentives.

Re: No! I will let you know if anyone has any suggestions.
