Wreck of the Day *****edit*****

Oi. Apparently, the lunesta worked. My alarm woke me at 730 and I was really confused for a minute, thinking, Why do I need to get up at 730am…?? Til I realized it was PM and I have to work in a few hours. I’m going to go back to bed for a bit before getting up and getting ready for work tho.

I just noticed that my title is a bit ironic or something like that. As AJ just called, and she’s working as an EMT today, and she’s at a car race. eheh.

And the people I babysat for a while ago, with the two little girls, called and want me to sit on the 20th for them. I feel bad cuz I never got back to them when I got my august schedule. Oops. But. I am s’posed to work a Mall Event for SAFE from 10am-5pm. Not to mention, I work at CPC the nite before, from 11p-730a. And then the mall thing. And then I work at CPC again from 11p-730a. And for all I know, I work the 21st too, tho that schedule isn’t out yet. I want it to be, so I can stop worrying about when I will be working- when I’ll be able to see AJ. But I won’t prolly know til the 19th or 20th or so.

Gotta go check the Bburg Fair website and see when that is this year, as H is bound and determined to go! eep. I want to to, as I haven’t been in a few years and…well. We went, every year as a child, every single year. But since college it’s been difficult to get there sometimes. Hmmm. Wonder what they’d think if I invited/took AJ along? I’d LOVE to, as that fair is like….the highlight of my youth? I have nothing but fond memories of it.Going and being able to stay up late- my cousins taking me back when mum was too tired. Going when Nana was in a wheelchair, sitting and watching her play bingo. The year that she won a dozen or more “Killer Bananas” (Just…stuffed bananas with little smile faces on them…) The year that mum absolutely FORBADE us to play the fish game. And we all agreed. ANd then when we met up at the end of the nite, had about 8 fish between us. Some of them that SHE had won!!! It’s addictive, I tell ya. Gracie- my first goldfish- lived for like, 9 years. She was a Fair Fish. (So was George. But he died on the way home…) They always have awesome acts going on- most of the country stars, before they were big or riht as they were getting big. H and my cousins saw Air Supply there once. I -heard- Lorrie Morgan, I think once. Tho I never got to see a show.

Anyways. I can sleep a few hours, or at least lay in bed for a few hours, before I need to get ready.
