Hello, 2014!

 Cbaby and I rang in the new year last night.  We started outside with a fire and a few fireworks.  (Very few, like 5 and a few sparklers. lol) Then we came in, made homemade pizza, watched Percy Jackson, played games, and just had fun.  We rang in the new year while in the middle of a bloody match of Battleship.  We watched the ball drop, then hopped in the car and drove down the road to watch fireworks in a neighbor’s yard.  We ended up staying up almost another hour before she crashed.  I read for another 45 minutes or so before going to bed.  She slept until 10 this morning. 😀  Unfortunately I was up around 7.  Ugggghhh  I’m feeling it now, though.  I’m ready to sleep.  

2013 was a mixed bag for me, I have some hopes for 2014 and some plans.  We’ll see how the year goes.  A few pics of our night to share:

This is not what it seems.  We had sparkling grape juice to celebrate with.  As you can tell, Cbaby likes it. 😀
