NoJoMo #13

*yawns* I got 8 hours of sleep last night, and I’m still sleepy!

Yesterday was a good day. Once Stan got up, we had to head to his mom’s house to clean out some more stuff, pack up some things, and take her bird bath. Stan really wanted it. And that thing was HEAVY! He’s the only man I know that would do heavy lifting while he has a sore back. My little stubborn bull 🙂 Anywho, I hurt my shoulder while lifting it into the car (it rocked back on me and socked me good, right on the ball – ouch!), and I’m surprised I don’t have a bruise. It’s sore today, though.

Anywho, after that, we got some lunch, then came home, dropped the bird bath off, changed clothes, and headed over to Amy’s. When we got there, we headed out to do some shopping, only to find that Amy’s right front tire was flat. So Stan and I went to Target to get her a foot pump, and Stan pumped up the tire to see if there was a nail or a hole in it. It stayed inflated, though, so we ventured out after that. We went to Home Depot for Stan, then Target again (because Amy wanted to go), and then off to dinner at Sonny’s. Don’t ask me how I get talked into eating at Sonny’s every time I’m with these two. Sigh. Anywho, after that, we headed to the mall, where we went to JC Penney’s so Stan could look at some blinds that were on sale, but they didn’t have the color we wanted. Then we went to Barnes and Nobles, where I managed to pick up some more Christmas gifts, as well as try the Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks. It was tasty, but not my favorite, and I don’t think I’d order it again. Next on my list to try is the Eggnog Latte. I hope it’s better 🙂 And then, for my favorite Christmas treat, the Peppermint Mocha (or the frappruchino version, if it’s hot out). Mmmm, yum!

After the mall, we went to Publix, then back to Amy’s to hang out and watch TV until about 1:00am. Then we came home, watched some more TV, and went to bed around 4:00.

I have to work today, from 3:00 to midnight. And we all know what’s coming next…

I so don’t want to go to work today.
