NoJoMo #11

Oh, I am so fired. I completely forgot to do an entry yesterday! *hangs head in shame* I almost forgot today too! Jeez! Still… I’m writing more than I have in the past year, so I’m still doing pretty good.

Thursday was a decent day. I slept late and was basically lazy before work. Just played around online (don’t ask me how it slipped my mind to write, because I don’t know) and watched TV. Then I worked from 3-12. Came home, chatted with Stan, watched some TV shows on our DVR, then went to bed.

This morning I woke up in an excellent mood. I have no clear reason as to why this is. It being Friday helps. And pay day. But mostly, it just seems like whatever funk I’ve been in for the past couple of weeks has lifted. Thank God. I know there are tough times ahead, mostly with Stan’s mom. But I feel better able to handle them. Anywho, I went shopping today since I had money. I started Christmas/birthday shopping. Birthday being for Stan. I only bought one thing, but at least I started lol. I also got myself a new bra, which was needed. And I got it on clearance! I love that. Then I came home, watched Bones on DVR, then played Fable 2 until Stan got home from work, which was around 6ish. Then we went to dinner at a place called Abuelo’s, which is a Mexican place near here. Very yummy! We stuffed ourselves silly. Then we stopped at Wal-Mart so I could do some grocery shopping, and now here we are 🙂 I’m playing around on Facebook while he plays his basketball video game. He’s yelling and swearing at it, which always amuses me, but I don’t dare smile!

I forgot that today is Friday the 13th. People always say it’s an unlucky day, but for me it tends to be a good day. Perhaps that’s what the good mood is from. Whatever, I’ll take it 🙂
