valentines day

Here is a bulletin from my good friend David that i think is exactly right!!!!

"There have been so many bulletins today about valentines day being sucky if you’re single. While I’m not disagreeing with you, isn’t valentines day supposed to be about love? We’re ALL capable of love in a much grander scale than just the boy loves girl sense. If you’re single . . . don’t dwell on that fact today!! Instead, tell all your friends how much you love them and care about them. Unless you’re a macho guy . . . then a few grunts and passing them a bag of chips and a mountain dew will suffice. So seriously guys, just be happy with the love that you have in your life right now, whether you’re single or not. :)"

went to my first class at 8am then skipped my 10am one bc i was like falling asleep in my first one. then i slept til 4pm. hahaha… 🙁

that’s a wonderful sentiment and you and your friend are quite right, that’s what it’s really about, and we should be grateful for the people that love us even if it’s not a romantic type love. On the other hand, I don’t know if your friend David is single or with someone, but you clearly have someone, and such a thing is easy to say when you do have someone, on the outside of loneliness…

….it’s a lot harder to feel that way when you’re actually inside it. A lot harder than it looks. But happy V-Day to you and your boyfriend and all of your loved ones as well. I hope you had a great day, and will continue to have a great night. p.s. I love your background, the horses are gorgeous.

i know valentines is supposed to be about love but in my school you wont feel it if you dont get to see the balloons roses and stuff and some guys are just to shy to give you a rose so they give it to the teachers…. =]
