Back in Buisiness

OpenDiary is back up, and that’s a good thing. I’d like to say that I had a hand in it, but we volunteers were just as bewildered as the rest of you.

One thing has been constant in my 12 years on OD. The DiaryMaster does a great job with the site, but needs work on customer communication. I was hopeful when made Facebook and Twitter accounts for this purpose, but disappointed when he didn’t update them with outage information while OD was down. There is always hope for the future. 🙂

Things are going pretty good for me. My son’s doing ok, though I hardly see him these days because of his college, job and friends. He’s a busy guy.

The dm is great, and I love the site, have been here off and on for so long, its like a little written home, but I was disappointed with the lack of communication as well. Ah well. At least its back!

I agree. The message that it was maintenance and that was it… kind of irksome, but glad to have service back nonetheless.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself. All we wanted was an update…

RYN: It looks bad doesn’t it? The sad part is that’s not the worst of his injuries. He knocked teeth loose and had to have x-rays…thankfully he didn’t crack any teeth! I won’t even go in to his below-the-belt injuries. Poor little guy!! 🙁

The Admins should be given access rights to FB and Twitter.
