Getting up to date, the abbreviated version

My update is abbreviated, because there’s not much going on in my life that stands out. Things are good, but pretty much status quo since my brother went back to Florida. Here it is, in a nutshell…

  • Things at work are extremely blah and boring. I’m doing fine, but…meh.
  • Things with Linda and I are pretty good, though she has hinted about my lack of/ability to give oral sex. For me it’s a "chore" to do, though I do like to give fore-play in other ways. It’s a cross that I will have to bare, apparently.
  • My son’s fastfood job is going well. He worked a double shift the other day for the first time in his life. It’s about time that he got a taste of what "work" really means.
  • My enjoyment of the game Runescape is all but gone after playing it for 4 years. I’m hanging on because my clanmates are fantastic people to be around (virtually) and I have a high level character that I can’t bring myself to let go of.
  • My Combat Arms game fascination is thriving. My character is almost an officer, a 2nd Lt (butter bar, some call it). By contrast to my Runescape experience, I’m not enjoy my CA clan nearly as much at my RS clan. As a matter of fact, I’m seriously considering quitting the CA clan and soloing it the rest of the way.
  • I’m excited about NFL football getting ready to start (pre-season games don’t count). However, I’m not looking forward to winter and the cold…and snow…and sleet…and…ick.
  • I’m still hitting the gym pretty hard four days a week (two cardio days and two weight lifting days). I’ve had to switch to a different YMCA, because the road that leads to the one that I was going to is closed down for construction, and the detour is WAY out of may. Linda is very upset about having to drive all that extra way 7 days a week (she’s a gym rat).

That’s all for now. I’ll update you all soon.

I am also excited about the NFL season although lately I have really started getting into soccor. I also hate that winter is coming–I have enjoyed summer so much!!! I hate the cold and trying to drive in it.

NFL. Oh yeahhhh. Football fever has already hit Joseph. Now it’s Colts blue instead of Cubs blue. Don’t even go there, Eric. That was too easy of a set-up. 🙂

ryn: I just got off the phone with AT&T. They are my provider and my Ex’s. If I buy a phone, a basic phone, it is around $159ish. However, I can buy a pre-paid phone for $50ish at Walmart, etc and he will have the same phone number and I just need to call ATT to activate it on his dad’s plan. I am thinking I should do that?

Yes, then he would have the same phone number. I have to sit down with Joseph and talk to him about the meaning of having a pre-paid phone for a month and how he would need to use it for basic phone use only. Then it would “last” the month. I think it would be a good lesson in self-control, you know?

ryn: ERIC! You are so thoughtful, kind and generous to offer the loan for the phone. I appreciate that so much. I truly do. I will have to say no, though. We will swing it… I have no doubt. But really man… you totally touched my heart. Thank you for being such a good friend here and a good MAN.

That highway is perpetually under construction in those 10 miles! I HATE driving a truck thru there. We don’t oral like we did probably, but we still do. We both like to tho. Hell, get your tongues pierced, go crazy! They make vibrating tongue rings, super fun! I miss you.
