Home
I’m heading home for Thanksgiving.
I wasn’t gonna go. I didn’t even have a ticket until about 2 hours ago. A friend was gonna be out here visiting, M and I were gonna go to a hockey game, I was gonna do some day after Thanksgiving shopping, all was gonna be well. Only my friend couldn’t make it, M is still on the fence about the hockey game and the one roommate I get along with is heading to NorCal to visit a friend (which would leave me here with the 2 I can’t stand right now). So why should I stick around here? So back to Michigan I go. I’ll get there on Thursday about 7:30 am and leave Saturday night. It better not be snowing.
I haven’t told anyone yet. Actually the deciding factor was the ex in Mich who was determined to get me back for some holiday (I’m spending Christmas in London). I told him that if he could find me airfare for under $350 I could swing it. I didn’t believe he could do it but he did. He booked it for me and everything.
I guess I should tell my mom at some point….maybe Wednesday. Everyone else in the family can find out when I walk thru the door. This should be interesting.
Back at the begining of September, I sold a friend some DMB tickets. The check she wrote me bounced. Now I’m a pretty understanding person and I know it can happen sometimes so I just called and left her a message that it had bounced and to let me know when she would give me the money. She told me she was going to Vegas that day and would give me the cash when she got back.
I didn’t hear back from her until the 9th….of November. I got an email saying Happy Birthday and I have some money for you. Some??? It’s been over 2 months, you better have all of it. Am I out of line for thinking that???
oh no, money is money and it isnt like 5000 dollars. I hate risking it with people like that, I also dont understand how people can have so little money to bounce checks but hey, just me I guess. Have a great time, bring really warm clothes, I bet it will snow, hit 20 last week! Glad to see an entry from you 🙂
