Going Crazy

This week is a busy one. And the next couple are busy too. Planning a wedding AND a honeymoon AND working 65 hrs a week is insane, let me tell you.

This weekend I have my trial bridal hair appointment. I’m super nervous. I don’t have anything in mind except that it has to be up (since it’s June) and I have to have some hair in front of my face or bangs or something (otherwise I have a massive forehead). Nervous nervous nervous.

I started tanning this week. Its been about a year and I can think of a billion things I’d rather spend the money on, but I really do look best when I have some colour and I need to look my best for the wedding. Plus we’ll be in Florida two days after the wedding and Florida in June is HOT…. and I would rather not burn to a crisp!

Sunday morning we start DANCE LESSONS. I don’t know what to think about this. At first I didn’t think it was necessary, but I had this Sunday off and Shannon and I attempted to dance to the song we picked, which isn’t super slow…. anyway, I don’t think he had any idea what he was doing and then I just kept stepping on his feet and he kept blaming me for "not letting him lead" (wtf does that mean, anyway?) so I decided there and then that dance lessons were a must. It’s like $275 for 5 lessons…. but I really don’t want to look like a fool.

Next week we have to buy our marriage licence… and we have a meeting with the florist (we’ve paid them off, thank goodness… I went all out on flowers and spent like $1200 on them). I also have an appointment to get the alterations on my dress done…. AND that weekend is my BRIDAL SHOWER.

It’s crazy around here. And I am BROKE. I have like $1.40 in my bank account which hasn’t happened in FOREVER…. I mean, my bills are paid and my rent is set aside and I just got $1000 in USD funds out of the bank today since the CDN dollar is pretty much at par right now. Oh and I get paid tonight from my part-time job and tomorrow from my full-time job…. but still, it is a bizarre feeling. I actually ate KD for dinner tonight because there was no good food here.

The good news is, my crazy expensive wedding has so far been paid for with CASH and therefore I am not in any debt.

The week after that is a little more relaxed. Although I really need to get the ring bearer measured. *panic*

Aside from wedding things I’ve been working like a crazy person…. last week I basically worked 30 hrs straight at my job and didn’t go home for two days…. which was insane and I don’t think I’ll be doing that again. The overtime on my next pay will be amazing though!

Shannon FINALLY made an appointment to go get his sperm tested. As far as we know he has none…. so like, if he has any it’s an improvement. Basically things can only look up from here. But if there are none, at least we have some frozen ones.

The wedding is like 10 weeks away and I feel like I’m running out of time for everything already.
