Christmas Preparations
So I’m down 42 lbs.
But, I have to go back onto food.
I couldn’t get down all the shakes… and every week my shake consumption would get lower and lower.
Like, last week I only drank 2.5 for the entire week.
I’m suppose to have 32.
I never cheated. Which meant I was living off of 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and maybe some soup broth.
Which isn’t healthy, and was probably causing me to lose muscle mass.
The doctor wasn’t there, so I had to make the call myself. He had mentioned it last week though.
So, the nurses put me back on a 1200 calorie diet until I can talk to the doctor or a dietician.
I’m okay though. I sort of feel like I “gave up” or “failed” but my weight-loss friend from the group tells me otherwise. I’m still losing weight, I just need to do it with food now. And I’m 12 lbs away from my first goal. 🙂
This week has been busy busy busy and stressful!!! I worked 12 hours on Monday. And all 12 hours was spent organizing the toys and stuff that get donated for the kids/youth at the family shelter I work at.
Tuesday, I got my hair done. I cut 6 inches off of it and got rid of the blonde. It’s now dark and has a few copper highlights, but it definately isn’t all crazy and viberant like it used to be. I feel like I’m too old for that stuff now, ya know?
Today I cleaned and grabbed a few last minute things. I did a bunch of laundry. I made a stew for tomorrow night and put it in the crock pot insert…. Shannon just has to take it out of the fridge and turn it on tomorrow morning. I have to do some last minute stuff, but otherwise I’m set for Christmas. Scared and nervous as hell, but we’ll survive (hopefully).
Anyway, I’m off to bed. I need to read some food-related stuff and then sleep!!

You did really great with the shakes, way better than I could have! Going back on regular food though was going to be inevitable, so you’re just doing it sooner rather than later. keep up the great work!
