Hello… I don’t remember the prompt, but today is the 50th anniversary of Dr Who. There is also an annual event – The International Family Day at Rich’s work.

This is the day that all the International students put on stalls serving food and drinks, all for free! There are tickets of course, but children under 13 go for free. . I don’t think they took Tal into consideration. Her love of food added to her being permission to help herself to anything she wanted!

She ate a lot … but the real surprise of the day was Lila. Lila loved Turkish food!! My faddy, pasta and fish finger eating child ate Turkish food. Willingly tried anything, and didn’t leave hungry!

I had an amazing time, I ate so many types of food, and wad able to practice my Spanish in Spain, Chile and Colombia!

Rich didn’t eat so much. No, he tried most of the drinks though. He started with guiness (irish (and there’s a reason for the parenthesis)), he had whiskeys from many parts of the world, several versions of schnapps/snapps. He had vodka, he had saki and Ugandan Guinness too.

He got louder and swore more and more eventually telling T that drinking was the only thing that made him happy.

Yeah, so that led to an argument, or at least it would have if he wasn’t so drunk. Instead it was me doing a rather angry monologue while he swayed, made apologetic noises and then walked into the bedroom via various walls and door posts.

He then slept so the girls and I had dinner, we made some silly videos with a remote control dalek. We had bedtime and then I dragged Rich downstairs to watch Dr Who. He was rather pale, curled up on the sofa and once it finished he walked upstairs with purpose before vomiting. He’s asleep again while I’m watching all the Dr Who extra programmes.

Well, that’s it.

See you tomorrow.

Naughty Rich! I hope he felt bad afterwards.
