reading update.

After a week off from my voluntary position at the school, the teacher who is organising the special reading classes came up to me and put me down for a meeting with the lady who is coming from the organisation so she can meet me and find out what I’m like. And she’s given me the date and time of the training session. I will have to take the morning off work but, such is life! So, I guess we’re all go!

And for my many teacher friends – as a volunteer I often work with the lower sets in numeracy and literacy. If there are enough staff and volunteers to help each group, what reason would you have for putting the volunteer with the group who need the most help? I’m just intrigued!
