evenin’

We had a great gossipy afternoon but clothes swapping parties don’t work that we’ll when the people who show up come under certain descriptions. We had tall and skinny, medium and skinny, short and rotund, tall and ‘comfortable’ and tall and mediumish. All totally different body shapes. Saying that, I did bring two things home – I don’t know if anyone else did or not as I left early. I got a lovely knee length autumny skirt with flowers appliqued on and a grey autumny jacket. That”ll do me 🙂

I decided today would be a good day to update my front page – not huge changes but I chucked a bit of stuff in there.

And now for the fun bit.

Ask me anything. Go on, you know you want to! I don’t care how deep you want to delve!!

Oooh love these. Will have to have a think though! Right now I only want someone to explain bike gears to me lol x

Oooo! Ok… if money were not an issue, would you have more kids? If you could fix a broken or awkward relationship from the past which would it be? How do you picture yourself in ten years, realistically?

Ryn I shall have a read tomorrow but I don’t think the website is going to tell me how to change gears without slowing down so much I wobble and have to stop… I’m hopeless! X

my question? So what was some of the gossip?

I’m glad you had a good afternoon, what was the path you didn’t take?

Don’t think I’d like a clothes swapping party… only because I’m too self conscious about my body and then that no one would like my clothes!! lol But I do love op shopping.

RYN, it’s not the bike, it’s me. I am THAT hopeless on a bike lol x

What type of extra curricular activities did you do as a child? Or were you just left to your own devices? x

I read your front page and I got shocked when you say some might think you’re bullshitting. Who on earth would think that??! I hope nobody has tried to hurt you here? *raises fist* I can’t think of anything now, but I will during the day! Abrazo have a good sunday!

Oh wait, I actually have!! I know you are a quaker and a couple of months ago I read Tracy Chevalier’s “the last runaway” which is about a quaker girl who travels to America in the 1800’s, arriving to a quakers community that shocks her because they’ve slightly different ways to act than in England. The thing is, I learned a great deal about quakers of that time but I know nothing about quakers

…of this time. Like their silence sessions, do you do it? and is your interest in quilting related to quaker traditions? is there different types if quaker? I’m basically interested in a “life as a quaker in 2013 in a nutshell” paragraph 🙂 hope it doesn’t bother you the length of this!

🙂 Cycling or running? x

Hrm, all the good questions are taken. Did you ever want to be called a different name other than your own when you were younger? And if so, what was it? RYN: I thought they were poisonous too. After you noted Achaia said if they’re improperly processed, they can be poisonous. You need to crush them up and soak them to wash the tannins out (which are bitter, and as I understand it, will make you sick in large quantities) Certain types of acorns are naturally lower in tannins and are thus more desirable, but it’s stubby, bitter acorns for me! This might be a lot of work for nothing! *laughs* Oh, and no sparkles in Gabrielle’s cast. They had dinosaur print, paw prints, camo print, and rainbow splatter, or solid colours. I was really expecting her to pick purple the first time, but the paw prints won out, and this time the doctor asked her if she was going to get a pink cast to match her pretty pink dress, and she said “Yeah!” so that was that, LOL.
