stuff.
I hear thunder, I hear thunder, hark don’t you? Hark don’t you? Pitter patter raindrops, pitter patter raindrops, I’m wet through, so are you.
We’ve been having storms for twelve hours on and off, they’re pretty intense but fantastic . I went to my physio yesterday and drove right through the middle of it, the thunder was crashing down at the same moment as the lightening, rain was bouncing off the windscreen and there was at least an inch of water on the floor! It was energizing, electrifying, amazing 🙂
The physio had taped my foot up. The pain is almost gone and he said I could run as soon as I feel comfortable!! The tape is just extra support for a week. I have to tell you though, I’m going to be asked questions, there’s a huge bit of black tape up my calf and a blue bit under my arch. It looks as though I’ve been sticking duct tape on myself!
The storm is almost over us again , the rain is pounding down and the lightening and thunder so constant that I don’t know which flash equates to which crash!
I really love storms although I hope it stops for the school run …
I remember when I was a child I would play out in the garden during storms and my mum would keep calling me, telling me to come in. Woah, that was a loud one!
Tally has just jumped in bed for a cuddle so I’m going.
Love that wild nature! A little tape can do amazing things!

think we had 3 or 4 loud claps of thunder a few flashes of lightning and about 2 minutes of torrential rain over night – certainly not enough to clear the air – it’s still yukky and humid and I still have my thunder head… did I mention I hate this weather lol

*smiles* My grandmother sent me out in a rainstorm like that. I balked in surprise, but I have to say one of my fondest childhood memories was being shoo’d out in a bathing suit in my early teens to play in the few-inches deep water filling the empty streets while the rain poured down in a deluge!

We’ve been getting pathetic sprinkling the last few nights. Just enough to mess up my windshield.

También me gustan mucho las tormentas!! 🙂 Espero que llueva aqui pronto, el tiempo es demasiado caluroso y el aire necesita refrescarse! *abrazo*

The storms finally broke here about 4am, we had rumbly thunder late last night but it went overtop and away. Eva slept through most of it until a particularly loud boom at 6:20am. We’ve spent the next hour storm-watching and enjoying the lightening. Ok, I enjoyed the lightening, Eve cowered in my lap with hands over ears. 😉
