Finally

Took so long,

Just some simple words.

What do I feel?

Why is it so hard to say?

Because I’m afraid.

Afraid of what you will think.

Afraid of what you will say.

Cannot let the fear control me,

Toss aside this wall,

If the pain comes I shall have to welcome it.

For if nothing else,

This will be the death,

Of a single ‘what if’.
